Along with the process of evolution set up by our company, it is of vital importance the new experimental station of Ragusa built in October 2009, which has the capacity to give our enterprise the right boost to be high competitive within national and international market .
The experimental station is herald of innovation and progress. It is extended on a total area of 12000mq (129166.9 ft²) including: commerce and administrative offices, seeds processing warehouses and testing field crops, the latter ones divided into protected crops and open fields.
The presence on the area of Sicily of this experimental station with protected crops and open fields enables us to:
- test and verify new varieties of fruiting vegetables on specific Mediterranean areas in order to offer customers hybrids which are resistant to southern Europe climate and proceeding directly from our industry research;
- come along with the needs and demands of the market and those of the entire production chain, acquiring in addition useful information for the research.
Thus, the whole structure takes active part to guarantee that MedHermes ‘product range will always be full quality and in the vanguard.
